The Pandas Are Coming, The Pandas Are Coming
Saturday afternoon, on the way to buy my new digital camera (a Canon Digital Rebel SLR), I saw this truck hauling one of the panda statutes that will start appearing around town. Various artists have been selected to "decorate" the panda statutes and they will be installed around town. An attorney in my office is also an artist and she's doing one of the pandas: Panda-Monet-Ium. The panda will be covered with Monet reproductions. I don't see the connection, but the pun is kinda cool.
